Sketchnotes of Radiolab Podcast: Grumpy Old Terrorists

The Graphic Recorder - Doug Neill Sketchnotes - Grumpy Old Terrorists - Radiolab

It’s a beautiful, peaceful day today in Portland, Oregon. But the park bench on which I sat this morning was not the most appropriate setting to listen to Radiolab’s most recent podcast, which deals with the issue of catching terrorists within the U.S.  Not just any terrorists.  Old, grumpy terrorists.

I took the sketchnotes above while listening to the short episode, which tells the tale of a group of old men determined to take the lives of others before leaving their own behind, and the tactics used by the government to catch them.  Interesting and troubling topic, raising important questions.  You can click on the image above to view a larger version of the sketch.

I’m on a journey to become a better visual note taker.  To see some of the resources that I am using on that journey, as well as some resources that I have developed, check out the Visual Note Taking Resources page.
