Sketchnotes of Rework by Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson

I recently read Rework, by Jason Fried and David Heinemeir Hansson, for two reasons: 1) the subject of the book interested me (as I attack an entrepreneurial itch that I can’t stop scratching); and 2) Mike Rohde did the illustrations, and I wanted to check out his work.  The book was refreshing, and the illustrations inspiring.  Prior to reading the book, I was unfamiliar with the authors’ blog – Signal vs. Noise – so many of the ideas were new to me.  While I read, I sketchnoted  some of those ideas. Here are those sketchnotes:

Rework Sketchnotes - Jason Fried, David Heinemeier Hansson - Doug Neill - sell to the fortune 5000000, plans let the past drive the future, improvisation, it's okay to wing it

Rework Sketchnotes - Jason Fried, David Heinemeier Hansson - Doug Neill - constraints are an advantage in disguise, decide on it, it's what you leave out that matters, curator, sell your by-products, chisel out and start making

Rework Sketchnotes - Jason Fried, David Heinemeier Hansson - Doug Neill - alone zone, worrying improving, be happy in the shadows, obscurity, cookbook to share with the world
