I have now had the pleasure of sketchnoting talks of two leaders of the civil rights movement. At a conference on social justice and education last summer I captured these sketchnotes as I listened to Freedom Rider David Dennis speak about the 50th anniversay of a number of landmark civil rights events, and the opportunity for reflection that those anniversaries afforded us. Then early last week I listened Vincent Harding on the radio show On Being share his hopes and his optimism regarding the building of a national community of love and compassion.
