Mary Pavel is the staff director and chief counsel to the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs. This February she gave a keynote address at the 2014 Public Interest Environmental Law Conference. In her address she talked about how federal law and good science can work hand in hand to find balanced and fair solutions to difficult environmental situations.
